Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Sentiers" 2014
An appealingly layered if highly restrained, indeed the word grudging comes to mind, nose that consists mostly of plum, dark berries, earth and floral hints. There is good richness and intensity to the muscular middle weight flavors that possess a textured mid-palate before culminating in a dusty, mouth coating and ever-so-mildly austere finish that is both balanced and persistent. Once again patience definitely will be required.
