Chateau Pape Clement Blanc 2010 - Case of 6 Bottles (75cl)
The Pape Clement Blanc is aged for 15 months in new oak barrels. The nose takes a few swirls to pull itself together. There are scents of lime flower, fresh apricot, white peach and a touch of vanilla emanating from the oak. The palate is medium-bodied with a crisp fresh entry. This is a very tight, controlled Pape Clement Blanc - not as flamboyant as the 2009, but very focused on the finish with the Sauvignon Gris imparting a touch of spice towards the finish. Very fine. Tasted November 2012.
