Corton en Charlemagne Grand Cru Blanc 2017

A background trace of wood can be found on the aromas of green apple, lemon-lime and a somewhat curious yeasty nuance. As one would reasonably expect, there is more volume, punch and muscle to the relatively big-bodied flavors that evident much more minerality while delivering fine length on the citrus zest-infused finish. What this is not is especially complex and while more should certainly develop, I have my doubts that this is going to rise to the level of the exceptional.
