Fontaine-Gagnard Chassagne-Montrachet Clos des Murées 1er Cru 2009

A moderately reduced nose is presently inexpressive though there is a lovely restraint to the ripe yet cool medium-bodied flavors that brim with palate staining extract that buffers the firm acid spine on the lingering, focused and delicious finish. This is really quite good and it seems somewhat less overtly ripe than usual though there is a trace of natural sweetness present on the finale. Drink date 2014+
