Bourgogne Pinot Noir Franc de Pied 2017

A densely fruited and quite attractive nose exhibits lovely freshness to the violet, earth and spice-inflected red berry scents. There is excellent density to the mouth coating and altogether serious flavors that possess first-rate concentration and particularly so for the appellation, all wrapped in a wonderfully persistent and complex finale. This is completely unlike any other Bourgogne and in particular in terms of the underlying structure - PATIENCE!
