Reduction. There is good detail to the finer though slightly less concentrated flavors that display even more minerality while delivering excellent depth and length. Just to provide some perspective the texture here isn't quite as fine as that of the La Justice but it's notable finer than that of the old vines cuvée. In sum while qualitatively similar to the Vieilles Vignes the two wines are really quite different.
