The nose is firmly reduced and unreadable today. The sleek, intense and wonderfully mineral-driven middleweight flavors possess an almost pungent salinity on the bitter cherry-inflected finish that flashes very good complexity and length. I like the plush mouthfeel and in contrast to several of the preceding wines, this could be approached on the younger side yet should be capable of rewarding up to a decade of bottle age.
