Echezeaux Grand Cru 2013

An attractively fresh and pure nose is comprised by the essence of red berry fruit liqueur-like aromas along with a multitude of different floral and spice elements. The precise and lightly mineral-driven middle weight flavors possess a supple yet reasonably detailed mid-palate before terminating in a relatively refined, balanced and solidly persistent finale. This is very good if not truly distinguished and my only concern is that this does not appear to have the same vibrancy as the best wines in the range.
