Côte Rôtie 2022

The 2022 pours a medium ruby-violet, luminous and translucent, defying Côte-Rôtie’s typical density and signalling a wine of purity and lift. The nose is highly expressive, combining intense dark fruit — blackberry, black cherry, blueberry — with an extraordinary floral register of violet, iris, and lavender.

The palate is silky yet structured, with refined tannins and crystalline acidity carrying concentrated Syrah fruit without weight or heaviness. Whole-bunch fermentation adds aromatic detail and elegance, enhancing freshness and complexity.

A distinct granite minerality runs through the wine, framed by cracked black pepper, smoked meat, and wild herbs. The finish is long, smoky, and floral, marked by violet, stone, and lingering spice. A Côte-Rôtie of finesse, energy, and depth, built to age 10–15+ years.
