Moderate but not intrusive wood frames lightly spiced aromas of both red and dark berries along with plenty of freshly turned earth character that continues onto the rich, full-bodied and quite powerful flavors that terminate in a rustic, firm and sappy finish that is youthfully austere. This will need time to harmonize.
