Gevrey Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2018

This too is very serious, brooding and somber nose is highly restrained but well-layered while reluctantly displaying very fresh aromas of forest floor, sauvage and dark pinot fruit. There is excellent density to the muscular and focused medium-bodied flavors that flash plenty of power and a subtle minerality on the balanced, structured and impressively long finish. This is an excellent Gevrey villages though one that will require extended patience.
