Patrice Rion Nuits Saint Georges, Vieilles Vignes 2016

Very fresh aromas of dark currant and earth are liberally laced by hints of the sauvage that continue onto the dense, serious and muscular flavors that are shaped by firm but not hard tannins on the mildly rustic and solidly persistent finish. This is very Nuits in character and will need a few years to round out.
